netFiber 9 is a powerful outdoor switch with SFP, SFP+, and Gigabit Ethernet. It features a powerful ARM v7 CPU, 256 MB of RAM, 4x 10G SFP+ ports, and an advanced Marvell switch-chip that can handle even the heaviest loads.

The Gigabit Ethernet port is not just for management purposes. It has a direct connection to the switch chip – so you can enjoy full gigabit speed. This port also supports PoE-in, allowing for convenient powering in tight or hard-to-reach areas without relying on the DC jack.

There is also a console port, followed by five regular SFP ports and four high-speed SFP+ ports, giving you plenty of flexibility in setting up a robust 10 Gbps network. To help you stay organized, the case features clever cable management enhancements at the bottom for a cleaner install.

Built for Harsh Environments

The rugged enclosure offers reliable protection in dusty outdoor environments with light exposure to water—ideal for mounting under eaves, in covered outdoor cabinets, or similar locations.

A massive heatsink on the back ensures excellent heat dissipation while shifting the center of mass toward the mounting side, offering added stability and support. The package includes metal hose clamps and screws, so you can securely install it on poles, walls, or masts out of the box.

netFiber 9 is an ideal solution for long-distance connections over 100 meters where maintaining low ping and minimizing data loss is critical. Fiber optics offer better resistance to electromagnetic interference, tampering, or eavesdropping compared to copper. With 10 ports, a capable CPU, and a rugged design, netFiber 9 is a smart and cost-effective choice for demanding networks.
